1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Account data: email address, full name, company name, phone number — provided during sign-up or profile setup.
- Usage data: listings generated, social posts created, generation timestamps, token counts — used for billing and service improvement.
- Property data: addresses, property details, and photos you enter to generate listing copy. Photos are processed by Anthropic Claude and are not stored permanently.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, session tokens — collected automatically for security and debugging.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the RealPen AI service.
- To generate listing and social post copy using the Anthropic Claude API.
- To manage your subscription and send billing-related communications.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. Third-party processors
- Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU (AWS Frankfurt).
- Anthropic — AI model API. Property data and photos you submit are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.
- Google Maps / Places API — address geocoding and nearby amenity lookup. Only the address you provide is sent.
- Stripe — payment processing. We do not store card data.
5. Data retention
Account and listing data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and listings are permanently erased within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained for service analysis.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — delete your account and all associated data (available in Settings → Delete account).
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Restriction — request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session token). We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is shown because we only use strictly necessary cookies.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies. API keys and secrets are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of RealPen AI after a change constitutes acceptance.
